NL | WILLOW Online Art Space viert met op 6 juli, van 15.00 tot 19.00 uur de opening van de tentoonstelling Search History bij WEP.
Search History onderzoekt welke uitdagingen er komen kijken bij het behoud van onze persoonlijke geschiedenis, maar ook de collectieve geschiedenis van de digitale wereld.
Tijdens een residentie van drie maanden, nodigde WILLOW vijf beginnende kunstenaars (Michiel Teeuw, Siem de Boer, Sojung Lee, Fadi Houmani en Ster Borgman) uit om grenzen van de digitale wereld te ontdekken. Tijdens het evenement kunnen deelnemers meer horen over de ontwikkeling van de tentoonstelling en deze zelf uitproberen (en natuurlijk zijn er drankjes en hapjes!).
Vanaf 6 juli is Search History drie maanden gratis online te zien.
EN | WILLOW Online Art Space will launch its newest virtual art exhibition, Search History, on July 6 from 15.00 to 19.00 at Stichting WEP in Groningen.
The exhibition is the outcome of a residency program organised in collaboration with WERC, where five emerging artists (Michiel Teeuw, Siem de Boer, Sojung Lee, Fadi Houmani and Ster Borgman) created work investigating digital archiving.
During the event, people will be able to hear more about the development of the exhibition and try themselves (and of course there will be drinks and snacks).
From July 6 Search History will also be freely accessible online for three months from any laptop/computer in our 3D virtual space.
