SUMMER RESIDENCY 2024: Sara Andreasson
This summer, we are happy to invite Sara Andreasson from Sweden for our second WEP Summer Residency. Between August 14 and October 4, Sara will work on new work. The results will be shown on October 4, 5 & 6.
Andreassons work explores the inherent qualities of both 2- and 3-dimensional materiality, highlighting unexpected connections found in our daily environment. Her work encourages an alternative view of the world which examines intermediate states of time, memory and perception. Andreasson is guided by bodily senses and personal observations, often collected from landscape and tradition which she filters through memory, history and modern technology.
